Constructing an Earth- Friendly Environment
Have you ever cleaned your house and found a bunch of junk that you wanted to throw away? Have you ever wondered what you could do with a tin can after you are done making dinner? The purpose of this book is to educate people to take items from your house that you may want to get rid of or even just throw away and make items that may help you in your everyday life. It is an Earth- Friendly book that is helpful to people that have a lot of junk that is just going to be thrown away. Instead they can turn it into anything they need. Like turning a tin can into an outdoor lantern. You can even use old newspaper or even cigarette paper from keeping Cutworms from damaging your freshly planted tomato plants.
The Boy Mechanic is intended for anyone that would like to step forward and be friendly with the Earth. Are you someone that never knows what you can do to help save the environment? If you are this book is totally for you. Don’t throw out your junk, turn it into a present for a family member. They would never know. Even if you don’t want to save the Earth and you have tons of junk lying around the house open this book and you will have many projects you won’t have to spend any money with. Do you like to decorate your yard? There are many projects in this book for people like you.
What can you do for yourself and the environment is the conversation of this book I think. I didn’t really know much about this conversation. I don’t know any of the cool facts like how much trash is consumed by an American citizen every month or how much we don’t recycle. All I know is that people are getting really serious about the Earth and what we are doing to it by not recycling and just throwing stuff out. I guarantee you that just because I read this book doesn’t mean that I am going to start taking more care of the Earth and stuff. I can tell you that since I did read this book I will probably start making house hold items with junk that I found in my house.
Well when I went out looking for a book about construction I couldn’t really find anything that looked very interesting. When I pulled this book off the shelf I looked at it and was kind of confused. I thought to myself how can building things help the environment and that is what mainly got me to get it. I didn’t really know what it was going to be like. I just thought it was going to talk about how a boy went and made projects with trash. I didn’t even know what they were making so I kind of thought it was going to be a big trash ball. Not something that I would actually use in my everyday life.
While I was reading this book I found an idea that would save you around $250.00. You ever dreaded about spending money on a baby crib? Well in this book it tells you how you can save that money and make a baby crib with a laundry basket. You just take a small wooden frame and mount the laundry basket on top. You then take pillows and put them all the way around the inside. It makes it very light weight so it is easy to move. This is just one of the very interesting things in this book.
Now that you want to go and explore the junk in your house you need to remember not to take stuff your parents would want you to take. You should only take stuff that your parents may be wanting to give to a needy family or a may be looking to throw away. Look and see what you can find and look to see how you could turn that into an everyday tool or even an everyday toy.
